Changing sexual HIV risk among men who have sex with men in the UK
14th annual CHAPS Conference (C14), Manchester, 9th - 10th March 2011
Speakers: Ford Hickson & Chris Bonell
This presentation looks data from the Gay Men’s Sex Survey in 2001 and 2008 to examine changes in HIV testing and sexual risk behaviours over that time. The picture is complex, suggesting increases in risk are not random but related to patterns of HIV testing and relationships to sexual partners. Implications for HIV prevention are drawn.
